It was always you.

Rain drops sprinkled sporadically throughout the ranch as the day began with the bride and her bridesmaids - made up of her closest girlfriends and family - got ready in the charming bridal suite. Because the boys got ready at the AirBnB, I was able to sneak the bride's dress, veil, and flowers out to the beautifully lit main space for some detail shots.

The ceremony itself was held outdoors, in front of a hand-made arch adorned with stunning dried flowers and a lit sign that read the motto for the day, "it was always you". The couple's love + friendship shone through every word they exchanged. They laughed and cried their way through their eternal promises to one another.

After the ceremony, the newly wed couple + I snuck away for some photos before their reception. They both breathed a sigh of relief as they realized the most nerve-wrecking part of the day was over. This is one of my favorite parts of a wedding day, because the couple finally gets a moment alone (minus me!) to really take each other in and remember what all of this is truly for.
